Last week, we rolled out a major site-wide update on WonderHowTo, making it even easier to follow the subjects you're passionate about—and easier to share your creations with people who'll give you the kudos you deserve!
Like any major update, there will be some bugs and questions about the new design. If you've got any issues, found a glitch, or have a feature recommendation, tell us in this forum post.
Things to Do on WonderHowTo
WonderHowTo is a how-to website made up of niche communities called Worlds, with topics ranging from Minecraft to science experiments to Scrabble and everything in-between. Check in every Wednesday evening for a roundup of user-run activities and how-to projects from the communities.
Below are the how-to highlights from the last week, as well as any current activities going on this week in the World communities.
MacGyverisms World
No one is immune to the everyday problems that life springs on us. Most of the quick-fix solutions to these dilemmas cost money—and lots of it. But not if you've got the MacGyver spirit!
Come join Christian Miller in the MacGyverisms World and help provide the World with ingenious solutions to random problems—on the cheap! Last week, Christian shared many creative MacGyver-friendly tricks, including a DIY shredded cheese catcher and automatic pepper mill.

Secret Tips from the Yumiverse

Minecraft World
As always, there's plenty to do on our Minecraft server. This week's activities include Mgabrys' Replication Challenge, which asks you to recreate Frank Lloyd Wright's famous "Ennis House" (ends 6/26), the Weekly Challenge, which calls for your best in-game "quest" (ends 6/24), and Patrick Maguire's Redstone Competition, which wants to see your most awesome PvP trap (ends 6/28).
Also, don't miss this Saturday's Minecraft Workshop (6/23 at 1pm PST), which will be covering in detail how to overcome the gravity of sand and gravel blocks.
There are plenty of activities to participate in on the Minecraft World, as you can see above. But there are also tons of great tutorial guides for Minecraft by admin Austin Sirkin and the community. Check them all out in the links below.

Also in Mad Science, William gave us two very cool tutorials. One on automating your doorbell with a DIY laser tripwire system, and the other on safeguarding your valuables with a secret knock lock.

Null Byte World
It's true, the Null Byte World is still kicking, thanks to community members like Matthew Herman, Bird andBear, and Joey Bradley; the latter just posted up a great beginner-style how-to on AppleScript.
Steve__OH's Redstone World
Steve has been hard at work in his Steve_OH's Redstone, posting tons of great redstone-related content. One thing in particular to mention is his guide on gravity in Minecraft, which covers players, items, TNT, boats, carts, lava, and water. Don't miss these two articles!
